Description
«For extraordinary people - extraordinary gifts!»
The VENTHOUSE collection, designed by Maria Grazia Rosin for NasonMoretti , combines the functionality of fine tableware with an expressive, sculptural design.
The glasses and carafe are handcrafted, and the collection’s signature feature is the three-dimensional decorative elements applied to the sidesof each piece — round discsreminiscent of small washers or ship’s portholes. These elements alter the silhouettes of the glasses and carafe, creating a distinctive rhythm, volume, and the instantly recognizable character of VENTHOUSE.
The collection can be described as follows:
A violet carafe and glasses handcrafted from Murano glass in a deep wine-purple hue, each featuring three raised circular applications in dark glass, reminiscent of small washers or ship’s portholes.
Light, color and depth
The Violetto hue changes noticeably depending on the lighting.
In natural light, the glass appears more transparent and luminous, revealing plum and amethyst undertones. The darker, porthole-like decorative elements appear visually denser, creating a striking contrast with the translucent colored bodies of the glasses.
When illuminated from the side, the three-dimensional elements cast subtle shadows and catch the light, further emphasizing the sculptural profiles of the pieces.
In warm evening light or by candlelight, Violetto becomes deeper and takes on rich wine tones. This effect is particularly striking on the carafe and taller glasses.
On a light-colored tablecloth or tabletop, the violet glass appears brighter and more vibrant. Against dark surfaces, the composition takes on a deeper, more sophisticated and theatrical character.
How to Use the VENTHOUSE Glassware Set
The collection allows you to create a complete table setting:
Glass of water – for water and soft drinks
Wine glass – for the elegant service of rare and collectible wines presented at the table in the bottle
Flute – for Champagne, Prosecco and sparkling wines
Wine glass – for wines served by the glass, including classic or popular selections from the wine list
The Jug – for water, wine and other cold drinks
The recurring motif of three raised circular applications visually unites all the pieces in the collection. As a result, glasses and the carafe of different shapes and heights are perceived as a single, cohesive designer tableware set.
CANOVA in the Table Setting
Elegant Light-Colored Table Setting
White porcelain, light linen, clear glass and silver-toned details enhance the Violetto hue without drawing attention away from the design of the glassware itself.
In this setting, VENTHOUSE becomes the main color and decorative accent of the table.
Dark Table Setting
Against black, anthracite or dark wood, the violet glass appears deeper, while the dark ventose elements partially blend into the background.
The result is a richer, more dramatic setting with a distinctly evening character.
Contemporary Classic
Shades of ivory, cream, dove gray, marble and dark wood , create a calm, neutral foundation against which Violetto appears particularly refined and expressive.
Art Deco and Luxury
VENTHOUSE pairs particularly well with marble, mirrored surfaces, brass, gold, silver and dark lacquered finishes.
The rounded, three-dimensional porthole-like elements create an organic rhythm that contrasts beautifully with the clean geometry of the furniture and interior.
For Special-Occasion Tables
VENTHOUSE is particularly well suited to elegant dinners, anniversaries, formal receptions and wedding table settings.
To highlight the expressive design of the collection, it is best to keep the other elements of the table relatively understated: light-colored porcelain, candles, white or green flowers and a limited number of metallic accents.
Violet should remain the principal color accent. For this reason, it is best to avoid repeating the same shade of violet across too many other decorative elements.
VENTHOUSE as a Decorative Collection
When not in use for serving drinks, the set can be displayed in a glass cabinet, on a sideboard, or in a bar cabinet as a decorative collection in their own right.
The carafe can be positioned toward the back alongside the taller glasses, while the shorter glasses can be arranged in the foreground.
The varying heights of the pieces and the recurring ventose motif transform the set into a striking composition of artistic Murano glass.
